On this log I try to document things I find interesting on my day-to-day. The idea is to look back at it over time and see how things have evolved, and since I am logging them I may as well share them here on my site.
Earlier today Yahoo! announced that they are closing down geocities for good. Eventhough they haven’t been relevant for many years now, I have nothing but good memories. I hosted my very first website there more than 10 years ago (in the Baja neighborhood if I recall correctly) when it was one of the very few sites that offered free web hosting, and that’s where I started to develop an interest in HTML coding and web technologies, so they were quite a good influence for me.
